The City of La Grande, Oregon is seeking proposals from qualified firms or consultants to develop a comprehensive Economic Development Strategic Plan. The plan will guide policies, investments, and initiatives to promote sustainable economic growth, resilience, and community prosperity over the next 5 years.

This project is proposed in the City of La Grande’s 2026-27 budget, is contingent on budget adoption in May-June 2026, with funding available beginning on July 1, 2026.

The plan will be a foundational component of the City’s broader Fiscal Transformation Initiative (FTI), intended to align economic development strategy with long-term fiscal sustainability, service delivery capacity, and measurable community outcomes.

Proposals are due by June 15, and selection will take place in Early July with an anticipated project start date in August 2026.
